At the end of February-beginning of March, there was Paris Fashion Week during which we could appreciate (or not) the latest trends of the greatest fashion designers. Pro or against, there has been something for everyone, so let's take a look at what's the trend for men for this spring of 2018.
The latest trends in Men's Fashion - Spring 2018
This year again, the "big" of fashion knew ... how to say ... surprise us! The 90s style, through the shirt, oversize and normcore, there has been for all (bad) tastes. But in all of this, there are trends that happen and that can be elegant. Let's take a look at these latest Man fashion trends from this spring of 2018 and see what are the alternatives/opportunities for a trendy look.
1. The Hawaiian Shirt
And yes, this year, we've seen some Hawaiian t-shirts, two terms synonymous with bad taste: t-shirts and Hawaiian patterns. Here, we recommend you to be very careful if you do not want to look like Magnum's actor or Patrick Healy in Mary at any cost. Already, given the references, you immediately understand the trend of the Hawaiian shirt.
The recommendation of the Man Trend:
Instead, prefer tropical patterns on parties of your garment such as a pocket printed on a simple t-shirt or the edges of the t-shirt sleeves. Objective: stay sober and stylish.
If you want to wear it on a complete piece, you can quite but to wear with another piece simple and united.
2. The "Heritage" ranges
The trend is for clothing called range "Heritage", that is to say with the big logo very visible. From the 80s and 90s, this trend is a tribute to vintage. Be careful not to abuse it.
The recommendation of the Man Trend:
It is possible to wear signature clothing but prefer them on sportswear to wear in streetwear: to give a vintage touch to a sportswear. This adds a trendy and sophisticated side to your outfit.
3. The Normcore
Normcore, what is it? This is the "Normal Attitude". The principle: be anything but the trend, long live the fashion faux pas! Basically, it's against the trends and assumes its old-fashioned side. For that, it is necessary to return mainly in the years 90, years during which, the bad taste was of size. You grab a high-waisted raw denim, a big, unformatted waistcoat or even a fleece, or an extra-large shirt on a hideous t-shirt. In short, the goal is to be like nothing.
The recommendation of the Man Trend:
Let's go back to the base of the Normcore trend: a 90's style that featured a cotton shirt that covered a t-shirt patterned on high-waisted jeans. We keep the concept of the cotton shirt on the t-shirt and modernize with jeans or pants and accessorize it with a KAKA Laptop Backpack.
4. Short Shorts
Between the Normcore, the Oversize, we see men in short shorts scroll. The goal: change the size of shorts. Frankly, we do not see too many other explanations.
The recommendation of the Man Trend:
In all transparency, you can wear it if you are fine, menu and not huge in size. Also be careful not to fall into the stylistic trend of fashion shows: namely shorts really too short. Otherwise, you will look like a schoolboy who makes his first return to school. Preferably, if you want to be stylish, we advise you shorts straight or slim at the good height, it is always the sobriety that wins in this case.
5. The Oversize
We have seen at many parades, pants, and oversized jackets. Not easy to bring that into the "real" life, what do you say?
The recommendation of the Man Trend:
We can play on the oversize but the rule is on a single piece and not on a set and especially to a certain extent. Overall, we must admit that we are not very fans of the oversize so be careful if you want to make the choice of the room.
From our side, we advise you to focus your wardrobe for this spring-summer 2018 season on colored chinos, khaki is particularly popular at the moment. Play sobriety for any stylish look and accessorize to customize your outfit to your image.
